​3 Wheel Rider Course

Need an M endorsement on your license, but don't want to learn on a 2-wheeled bike? Have you got your own trike? If the answer to both of these questions is "Yes," then the 3-Wheel Basic RiderCourse is for you. This class covers all the basics, and includes both classroom and on-trike practice. Successful completion (passing the required knowledge and skill evaluations, as well as attending all sessions) results in getting your MSB8 completion certificate at the end of class. Take the MSB8 to the DPS, pass their short knowledge test, and you have your M endorsement and can ride legal! (NOTE: THIS COURSE NOW REQUIRES COMPLETION OF AN ONLINE E-COURSE.  DETAILS WILL BE SENT TO YOU WHEN YOU SIGN UP.) 

3WBRC classes are restricted to conventional front or rear wheel trikes only. Automobile conversions, enclosed bodies, and trikes unable to turn within a 40 foot radius do not qualify. No Voyager conversions are permitted.

Classroom training is done at Team Mancuso Powersports, 4801 Gulf Freeway, LaMarque. All riding is done at Mainland Crossing shopping center, 9900 Emmett F Lowry Expwy, Texas City, TX 77591.

Tuition includes all materials and training, as well as course insurance to cover you against injuries while training on your trike during the class. If you need to borrow a DOT helmet, we will be happy to loan one to you.

You will need: over-the-ankle footwear, eye protection, full-fingered gloves, long pants and a long-sleeved garment (shirt, jacket). Training will be done on your own trike or one of our loaners (available on a limited basis. Call for availability) You must present personal identification at class beginning: valid automobile driver's license or learner's permit (one or the other required if you're under age 18), passport, valid state ID card, military photo ID.
